Winter Storm Notice

Dear Valued Homeowners,

We have been receiving a number of questions and warranty requests tied to weather extremes in our area over the last few days, specifically around:

  • Water heater/HVAC condensate lines on exteriors being frozen and causing improper or non-function of these systems
  • Bathroom fan drippage caused by ice-trapped moisture in the venting and/or snow-blocked exterior exhausts
  • Damage to insulation and drywall caused by snow blowing in through attic roof vents

Please be advised that the 2-10 Warranty does not currently cover any issues relating to, or arising from, a weather event such as snow and ice storms. Exact language about specific coverages can be found in the official warranty handbook provided to you at closing, or the digital version found here.

We recommend reaching out to your homeowner’s insurance provider to determine how they may best support in identifying a solution for any ice or snow damage the storm has caused.

For any non-weather-related claims, please submit via the online form and our team will be in touch within 48 hours.

Due to the overwhelming challenges brought on by COVID-19, our response times are slightly delayed. Please expect a response from us within 5 business days of submitting your warranty request.

For maintenance emergencies ONLY, please call 564-888-3354.

Examples of Maintenance Emergencies consist of: No heat, no electricity, gas leaks, carbon monoxide presence, flooding, fire (call 911 first), total stoppage of a plumbing drain system.
