Your First Year

As you get acquainted with your new home and familiarize yourself with the resources we provide, we’ll already be underway with the first-year process. Rest assured, we’ll periodically check-in with you to make sure everything is operating as intended and answer any questions you may have about your home.

During your first year, we recommend keeping a list of all the warrantable items you’d like addressed at your 1-year service appointment. You can find out what’s covered using the warranty manual in our Resource Hub.

What to expect

  • 30-Day Check-in

    30 days after you move-in to your new home, we’ll reach out to see how everything’s going, answer any questions you may have, and take note of any issues that you’d like addressed.

  • 45-Day Survey

    At 45 days, we’ll send you an optional survey where you can talk about your experiences with our team and provide any feedback for future improvements.

  • 1-Year Warranty Review

    At the end of your first year in your home, we’ll schedule an appointment with you to have one of our expert customer care technicians come in and perform a one-time courtesy grout, caulk, paint, and drywall touch-up.

  • 1-Year Survey

    After your one-year check in, we’ll send you an additional survey (similar to your 45-day survey) to rate your warranty experience and to see how your first year went!
